Mr. Jay Rahman

Venus has grown sustainably since its inception in 1997, and moving towards becoming a leading entity in the field of Interactive Science Exhibits and Green Technology in the Asia Pacific region. As part of our continuing focus on innovative and personalized approach to scientific and tradeshow exhibit design and production, we incorporate Green Technologies where applicable.

We have a strong visionary team in strategic planning and technical development of interactive exhibit systems that oversee all phases of the production process and managing our in-house concept, R&D, engineering and production. At the forefront of this visionary team is our CEO, Jay Rahman who leads us by example.

Jay is a great visionary with inexhaustible unique ideas and countless accomplishments, yet he is ever humble of his achievements and amicable to all regardless of their status and position. His infectious enthusiasm brings the entire team together cohesively to perform our best for our various clients in the many projects we involve in, as well as influence us to be as strongly committed as him in achieving our ambition and vision.

Under his leadership, Venus was involved in the development of a new interactive gallery; “Energy World” in National Science Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; a unique gallery-in-a-tunnel, “Light”, in National Science Centre (Northern Region), Kedah, Malaysia; “Space” galleries in National Planetarium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and in National Museum of Science & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh; as well as a collaboration work with Kingsmen Singapore and Jack Rouse Associates, USA, for a mini project in National Science Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His past touch spanned across various places such as Petrosains -  The Discovery Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and many more.

Jay holds a MBA in International Business from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, USA and is affiliated with the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) as the branch chairman and national council member. He is also a board member of the Malaysian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as a life member of Malaysian Red Crescent Society. He is active in various national and international conferences, workshops and seminars on Green Technologies and Industry Affairs as an invited speaker and panel.

Mr.Yow Ping Liang

Yow started Venus™ in 1997 to bring an innovative, personalized approach to scientific and tradeshow exhibit design and production. From its inception, he has been leading Venus in the strategic planning and technical development of interactive exhibit systems; overseeing all phases of the production process and managing our in-house team of concept, R&D, engineering and production. Prior to this, he served extensively as  an effective marketing and technical medium in the electrical and electronic industries, with proven adeptness and versatility in parts sourcing, machining, interfacing and system integration.

Yow's penchant for high technology, scientific research and cool gizmos has primarily shaped his love for daily challenge of building robust, elegant and distinctive exhibits for a national audience of eager learners. With years of experience in an interactive museum production environment; his core strength is composed of technical design, building and testing; with special emphasis on mechanical and structural solutions.  A decade of first-hand exposure to exhibit maintenance and repair further anchors his reputation as an accomplished entrepreneur. His motto; “always going the extra mile to deliver exceptionality” is infectious; inspiring and driving his team, as well as endearing him to many.

His current and recent work includes the development of a new interactive gallery; Energy World, in National Science Centre, Bukit Kiara; a unique gallery-in-a-tunnel, Light, in National Science Centre (Northern Region), Alor Setar; Space gallery in National Planetarium, Kuala Lumpur; Space gallery in Bangladesh National Science Centre, Dhaka; as well as a collaboration work with Kingsmen Singapore and Jack Rouse Associates, USA, for a mini project in National Science Centre Malaysia. His past touch spanned across various galleries in Petrosains the Discovery Centre, KLCC; National Science Centre, Bukit Kiara and Miri Petroleum Museum, Miri.

Yow holds a qualification in Electrical & Electronics from the City & Guilds of London Institute.
